The Simple Posy vase is part of my single stem bud vases collection.

A quiet celebration of form and detail, this collection of bud vases is designed to honour the beauty of a single stem - whether a sculptural dahlia, a classic rose, or a simple tulip. They also lend themselves beautifully to a small cluster of delicate flowers such as posies of sweet peas or lavender.

Each piece is finished in a soft white glaze, chosen deliberately to let the flower take centre stage - its shape, colour, and natural intricacy uninterrupted.

Each vase is individually hand-built, without the use of casts or moulds, and finished with its own carefully applied glaze. This artisanal process ensures that no two pieces are ever identical.

Subtle variations in form and finish are an inherent part of the making - quiet marks of craftsmanship that lend each vase its own character. Where the glaze settles more richly, a delicate, natural crazing may develop over time, adding further depth and texture to the surface.
